Marketing Manager – ABM

Position Summary

Virtuous is looking for a purposeful marketer with proven experience deploying integrated campaigns to drive customer demand and first-hand knowledge of nonprofit fundraising and the unique needs of the sector.

The ideal candidate is collaborative, data-driven, and has a bias toward action. They enjoy having a broad set of marketing responsibilities and thrive in a fast-paced environment where they’ll have an immediate impact on customer growth.

You’ll report directly to the CMO, and play a vital role in creating, implementing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns for specific nonprofit verticals that drive customer demand and revenue.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

Campaign Development — 70%

  • Reverse engineer quarterly pipeline goals into a robust integrated marketing plan for owned verticals with a mix of programs and channels initiatives.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns that build pipeline and further cultivate existing prospects; this includes strategy, content development, campaign objectives, and measurement.
  • Coordinate with revenue pods to run account-based campaigns (ABM) to drive engagement at target accounts and generate pipeline.
  • Develop campaign assets (website, landing pages, emails content, and ads), working with individual contributors, agencies and contract partners as needed.
  • Manage in-market opportunities that engage ideal segments and target accounts from pre- through post follow-up and measurement. These could include events, sponsorships, and other strategic campaigns and collaborations.

Content Development — 20%

  • Gain a deep understanding of customers, products, and the buyer’s journey within owned verticals to inform campaigns and create solution-focused strategies.
  • Deploy strategies for pipeline development and target account engagement. This could include webinars, SEM, re-marketing, social advertising, native advertising, automated outbounds, etc. to increase qualified opportunity creation.
  • Develop (write, drive review process, publish) and promote marketing materials to drive engagement and customer demand.
  • Increase close rates within owned verticals and improve the efficiency of the overall customer experience.

Analysis & Reporting — 10%

  • Collaborate with revenue and marketing leaders to establish quarterly customer demand and pipeline targets.
  • Analyze campaign outcomes in detail, drawing insights and presenting results clearly to facilitate future decision making and next steps.
  • Present weekly, 
monthly and quarterly metrics on pipeline performance (campaign costs, performance, and ROI).

Things You’ll Need:

  • 4+ years of successful marketing program creation, 
execution, measurement, analysis and reporting across channels.
  • Demonstrable success running integrated marketing campaigns across channels and managing budgets and ROI reports.
  • Proven success in B2B / SaaS or nonprofit marketing is a must, and enterprise marketing is a plus.
  • Ability to relate well across all organizational stakeholders, particularly Sales.
  • Experience working with agencies, contractors, and strategic partners to coordinate successful campaigns .
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • BA, BS or higher in marketing, communications, business or related field.
